Mercure Hotel in Chiang Mai

Located a little bit out of the historic city center, but great rooms and best shower I had in 2 weeks. Good value for money. Recommended!

Phowadol Resort in Chiang Rai

Located about 5km from the night-bazar at the north side of town, in a huge tropical garden with a big swimming pool and bungalows.

Mida Resort in Kanchanaburi

Located in the jungle of Kanchanaburi, along the Khwae Yai River about 35km from Kanchanaburi city. Great location .... if you like to be in the middle of nowhere.

Ibis Bangkok Riverside Hotel in Bangkok

Located right along the Chao Phraya at the Thonburi side of the river, with nearby BTS station "Krung Thonburi" and ferry pier "Tha Pepsi" to cross the river.

Sabaidee House in Sukhothai

A nice guesthouse located in one of the small soi's on the outskirts of the new Sukhothai town. Friendly staff, nice garden and a swimming pool! Recommended!

Kang Kiew House Resort in Tak

A bit older hotel located right along the small lake in Tak town. Great location for one night stop-over in town.

Wang Nam Yen Hill Resort in Nam Pat

A brand new resort located right along route 117, with in front some shophouses but behind about 12 bungalows in a garden. Nam Pat a good place for a one-night stop-over.

Arcadia Resort in Bo Win (Eastern Seaboard)

Not a tourist location, but if you have to be in Bo Win then this a great place to stay. Friendly staff, safe hotel and good rooms!

Tsix5 Hotel in Pattaya Naklua

Located about 700m into Soi 12 of Pattaya-Naklua road, with nearby restaurants. Most conveniently if you have your own transport (although Pattaya is getting a bit busy for that). Not my cup of tea.
